This is left entirely at the discretion of the Senior Official on the day.

Junior

Operating under the race permit of the British Triathlon Federation, our Junior Triathlon provides for a safe, fun and engaging way for juniors to get involved and give it a go.

Entrants will swim the relevant distance for their age category in sea or the outdoor marine lake (near Les Jardin De La Mer). On exit of the lake entrants will run 200m along the beach and up the steps (which will be marshalled) into the main Jersey Triathlon transition area.

On exiting transition with bike participants will mount opposite La Frigate before riding onto the closed roads of Victoria Avenue in order to complete their specific bike distance before returning to transition.

On exiting transition, participants will join the scenic waterfront (traffic free) course to complete their relevant run distance. The finish will be through the main finish gantry that also displays the race clock.
